Hi, I require to change channel of the virtual access point (softAP). Is it Possible to modify channel of the Virtual WiFi Access point(SoftAP). If it possible please tell me how to do it. Thanks.

Click on the properties of the hardware wifi network adapter and select the advanced tab and look for ADHoc channel Use 1, 6 , or 11. something different than the hardware connection is on.

Hi, The softAP is implemented with Virtual Wi-Fi on Windows 7, the Wi-Fi NIC picks the SoftAP channel and generally picks the same channel as the infrastructure network (Internet AP) that it is connected to.
